Note that the answers of the book is inaccurate (the answers for inequalities of Q11) Hint: fur Q12b, solve via substitution and manipulation of algebra (think of function and how they r linked).. try your best ppl! ^^

Hi 3A! lol.. The following is the proposal i submitted for the Career Booth Competition.. Note that the I/Cs are finalized and confirmed..

Profession: Studio Newsreporter (Media)

Parties involved: Class

Description of profession - A newsreporter is, broadly speaking, a person that presents a news show on television, radio or the Internet. The term is not commonly used by people in the industry as they tend to use more descriptive, and sometimes country-specific, terms. Examples include "newsreader", "newscaster", “news presenter” and "news anchor".

Description of booth and event – During the event, tables and chairs will be set up in the orientation of a news studio, where the reporter will sit in the middle with some scripts and notes in the center. Then camera/video camera will be set up on a tripod. In addition, some notices/posters/vanguard sheets will also be pinned up. They will include the description and overview of the career. Laptops maybe present to show the video clip. Teachers and students can then try to be a newsreporter by sitting in the same position and attempt to read the script and present just like how a reporter does in his/he daily job. The Camera crew will then help to video so that he/she can then look at their performance.

Activity Highlight – Our class be creating a video of a news programme similar to those seen on TV, inclusive of adding related footage. However, the news may not be factual. It will most likely be some current affairs such as global warming or politics etc.

yoyoyo... first time blogging in here, it seems high time that i start contributing to the class blog. =DWell i don't really have anything much to say and talk about. but hehe jia you ah 3A, start preparing for MYE (we are soon RUNNING OUT OF TIME) so as not to let urselves down and whoohoo enjoy ourselves.3 weeks to MYE (yupp yupp). Although we dun like it but just bear with it to earn our(my) precious freedom and have all the fun we want.

3A rawk on!! Alright have to start studying for darn(censored) physics... i'm having an imminent time crisis so bye and hope i will have the chance to write something for the blog again.. lol=DD

Hmmm.. There's a logo done by our Welfare ICs of the 'AHS'..

Anyways, im here fur some annoncement.. Okk.. Just to inform eu, our class will be doing a newsreporter (media) for the Career Booth Competition amongst Sec3.. It will be held after the NYE..

Basically, emphasis is on using a journalist approach in getting the day-to-day details of the chosen career and capturing the interesting aspects of the job such as challenges, the perks of the career. (Eg - what a teacher reali face, how the expectations have changed over time, tools and activities used by a teacher etc) then students can also visit the workplace to gather data by interviewing workers and collect relevant materials to use for presentation. Extra points will be given for involving parents. And we must have at least an 'activity highlight (eg - games, video etc)

However, we have to come up with a proposal (me and andrea will be doing).. But we will nid 3A's help in doing this.. So, far, the proposal looks like this:
